What are the requirements to join the NGO Committee on UNICEF?

To join the NGO Committee on UNICEF based in New York, your non-governmental organization’s work must be focused on children either wholly or in part. Your organization must also be accredited through ECOSOC at the United Nations. You can express your interest in membership by filling out the application form found below. Filling out the form below does not guarantee your organization’s acceptance to be a member of the NGO Committee on UNICEF. Your application will be reviewed and you will be notified by the committee of its processing.  

Dues

What are the membership dues for each organization?

 Membership dues are based on the member’s budget of their United Nations office and are collected per calendar year.

What are the benefits of joining the NGO Committee on UNICEF?

The benefits of being a member of the committee include but are not limited to attending child right focused events, gaining support for your organization’s work, attending informational briefings, a close relationship to the UNICEF executive board, community with fellow members, and the support of a staff coordinator that works specifically with the committee.
